Interests

I'm interested in computers, computers, and more computers. I can help your computer become awesome.

Everything that is good: I'm maximally interested in.

Everything that is bad: I'm minimally interested in.

We'll get along great.

On my workbench

[Jeff: add a project you're excited about, a picture or demo, and what makes it interesting to you.]

The reading room

A few corners of the internet worth a visit. These shelves have placeholders while I pick my favorites.

People on X

  • [X account #1][What I follow them for, and why I keep coming back.]
  • [X account #2][A computer person, a Mormon thinker, or someone who makes me laugh.]

Favorite sites

  • [Favorite site #1][A link and the particular thing I love about it.]
  • [Favorite site #2][Another place I lose track of time, and why.]

The Kids

The kids are all great kids. 3 girls, 3 boys. Five of six of the children are "on the spectrum". The two youngest are profoundly autistic and non-verbal.

A little of everyday life

[Jeff: add an anonymous family moment or tradition that gives a glimpse of life in this household.]

The Last Wife

You may be wondering what happened with the old wife.

My ex-wife was an excellent wife and mother for many years. The gratitude I have for these years is immeasurable, and I will always love her for giving them to all of us.

She experienced a serious adverse mental health event in 2022. We worked hard to get the right treatments and accommodate difficult new realities, but she did not recover.

She was no longer interested in participating in the marriage and filed for divorce in 2025. 💔

Tragic as this story is, it creates new opportunities for all of us, and for you, dear reader.

The Life

We must now build a new life. The principles and doctrines taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have been, and will remain, the foundation for doing so.

As a marriageable candidate, you can be an instrumental part of this.

I work from home as a software engineer for a research institution that focuses on child neurology and autism.

The 3 girls live mostly with me. The 3 boys live mostly with their mom.

Something I've been thinking about

[Jeff: add a gospel principle, a scripture, or a question you've been studying—and what it means to you.]

The Vision

You. Me. The 6(+?!?!) children. Living the dream.

Maybe you've always yearned to be the most important human being on the planet to a reasonably large number of people with varied abilities, interests, and skillsets. Maybe the concept has not formed so explicitly yet.

The gravity and impact of this calling will endow the recipient with an overflowing abundance of fulfillment, purpose, and meaning.

Also, we're pretty cool in general, and it'll be pleasant overall.

A good evening, according to Jeff

[Jeff: describe a real evening you'd enjoy sharing with someone. The ordinary details are the good part.]

Let's see what you've collected.
